Community

Support, engagement, inclusiveness, equity, respect, and honesty are qualities we, at Level Ground, envision when we participate in, and seek to build community.

At our most intimate level, our community consists of those we work with in our departments. From there, it branches to our company as a whole, our trading partners, our affiliates, our customers, and our neighbors on Vancouver Island and beyond.

Stacey Toews, one of our owners and our Community Engagement Lead, is our community ambassador. With dedication to share knowledge, and passion for social justice and the environment, Stacey facilitates as many as 100 Fair Trade presentations and community events in a given year. In addition to this, Stacey coordinates donations and sponsorship. In 2007 he facilitated donations to more than 100 community events.
