With your own coffee ritual we encourage you to include some reflection time on how you are contributing to others through your support of Fair Trade and how you are connected with Ethiopian farmers by enjoying their coffee.

Grown by small-scale farmers near the village of Yirgalem in Sidamo, this coffee features a medium body and a smooth, floral and fruity taste.  Medium roast Awasa makes a fabulous French Press coffee.

In 2008/2009 Level Ground Trading's purchases will represent the cash income for 587 farming families. The negotiations we are undertaking on behalf of the farmers should have them paid higher than they were last year.  As we heard time and again from the farmers - when they receive good payment for their coffee they have the means to eat better, access better education for their children and afford health care treatment.

  • Region: Awasa is grown at high-altitude in the Sidamo region of southern Ethiopia.
  • Certifications: Certified organic (BCS ÖKO-GARANTIE GMBH), Fair Trade Certified (FLO).
