Level Ground Trading is proud to offer a better alternative to conventional disposable coffee cups. Ecotainers are manufactured in an energy efficient manner and can be either recycled or composted at the end of their lifecycle.
Compostable and Recyclable
Instead of oil-based film used by conventional paper cups, Ecotainers™ employ compostable corn-based inner liners. Clean cups can be recycled with regular paper recyclables.
Energy Efficient
Less energy is needed to manufacture the Ecotainer™ corn-based liner compared with the petroleum based lining it replaces. Electricity used to produce paperboard for the Ecotainer™ is environmentally friendly—70 percent of the energy is from fully renewable resources.
Renewable
Paperboard used to make Ecotainers™ is grown and harvested according to Sustainable Forestry Initiative guidelines, so there is no harvesting of old-growth forests.
