Rawada. The Face of Level Ground Trading Ethiopia

Meet Rawda.  When we travel to Yrgalem in Sidamo Ethiopia to visit coffee farmers at Fero Co-op, we stay at Aregash Lodge.  In the evenings we enjoy the traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony.  She sorted green coffee beans and roasted them in a wood stove.  She then ground the dark roasted beans and brewed coffee for us.  Rawda allowed us to take pictures while she was busy making coffee and was happy to receive payment from Level Ground for letting us use her photo on our new package.

Coffee is the primary source of income for the people in Yrgalem.  Fero Co-op farmers receive huge premiums for their coffee because it is considered among the best in the world.
